The Slow Stitch Club: 25th November
The Slow Stitch Club
Wednesday 25th November
7pm to 9pm
Once a month join us to slow down, unwind and learn at the Slow Stitch Club.
Each month we will learn a new hand sew technique, and practice it on scraps of fabric that would otherwise have gone in the bin, you can then use this knowledge to create a piece of fiber art, fix clothing and upcycle garments.
Not only is this great for your nervous system it will help you grow your knowledge of hand sewing techniques so you can make your clothing last longer, give it a new lease of life and save it from landfill. Don't like sewing? then bring along your knitting, Crochet, or any other craft you are neck deep in and create in company.
All materials are provided but if you wish you can bring along a small sewing kit containing scissors, tape measure etc.
All other materials are provided but please feel free to bring any haberdashery and fabric you want to work on.
These sessions are open to people aged 13 and above but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
All materials are provided, however, if you have a certain fabric, beads or embellishment’s you wish to use please bring them along.
Light refreshments are included, if you have any dietary requirements please contact us before the workshop.
